PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inflow of an air current to a lower surface of a vehicle body at high-speed travelling, and to reduce floating and pitching of the vehicle body.SOLUTION: Using an upper spring acceleration sensor 8 and integrator 12, an upper spring speed V1 is detected. Using the upper spring acceleration sensor 8, a lower spring acceleration sensor 9, a subtractor 14 and the integrator 13, a relative speed V2 between a vehicle body 1 and a wheel 2 is detected. A gain multiplication processing part 15 sets extension-side front wheel target damping force DFf to be high and contraction-side front wheel target damping force DFf to be low, when the vehicle speed is high, compared to a case when the vehicle speed is low, and sets extension-side rear wheel target damping force DFr to be low and contraction-side rear wheel target damping force DFr to be high. A damping force map 20 calculates a command current value I on the basis of the target damping force DFf and DFr and the relative speed V2. This configuration enables a vehicle to behave nose-down at high speed. |
