PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an injection molding machine capable of preventing, even when a nozzle forward thrust command for a nozzle pressing mechanism is stopped, the leak of a molten resin from a gap between a nozzle and a nozzle touch unit.SOLUTION: In a method for controlling an injection molding machine 11 including a screw 32 drivable forward and backward within the heating cylinder 31 of an injection apparatus 14 or a plunger, a nozzle 33 attached to the anterior side of the heating cylinder 31 for injecting a molten resin, and a nozzle pressing mechanism 43 which mobilizes the nozzle 33 forward and backward and which can be contacted with and detached from a nozzle touch unit 36, the sack-back of the screw 32 is executed when or after a forward thrust command of the injection apparatus 14 has stopped or before a retraction command thereof commences in a state where the nozzle 33 butts against the nozzle touch unit 36. |
