The embodiments of the present invention provide an access system and a communication method of optical fiber network, related to the communication field. In the present invention, a user side virtual ONU is established. The ONU control plane function, PON MAC function and QoS function, which are located in the prior ONU, are moved down into the virtual ONU. Then the prior ONU, which is removed the above function modules, will act as an ONU physical converter, and only has the conversion function between the PON physical frame and first user side physical frame. Therefore the operator does not need to maintain the ONU control plane function, PON MAC function and QoS function, which lowers the maintenance difficulty degree, and reduces the maintenance costs. |
