PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element that has good press-forming property and changes a propagation direction of light.SOLUTION: An optical element 1 changes an advancing direction of light; and the optical element 1 includes an outer shape of a columnar body 2, a first surface 3 at one end of the columnar body 2, and a second surface 4 at the other end of the columnar body 2. A condensing functional surface 3a for condensing light is formed on the first surface 3; a light advancing direction change surface 4a, which obliquely intersects an optical axis 7 of the condensing functional surface 3a and changes the advancing direction of the light condensed by the condensing functional surface 3a, is formed on the second surface 4; and the light advancing direction change surface 4a is formed in a part of the second surface 4. |
