PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taper land bearing that reduces friction of a bearing surface by using a configuration increasing a load capacity of the bearing surface of a sliding component.SOLUTION: A taper land bearing comprises taper land that includes a taper surface becoming higher in a circumferential direction of a bearing surface for supporting a rotating shaft. Characteristically, the depth of the taper surface is 50 μm or less, and a taper ratio obtained by dividing the circumferential length of the taper surface by the circumferential length of the taper land is in the range of 0.5-0.9. |
