PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus in which a distance between a blast port in a drying unit and a sheet is maintained so that the sheet is stably dried.SOLUTION: A colorimetric device can move a colorimetric unit to an abutment position where the colorimetric unit abuts on a sheet for colorimetry and a standby position where the colorimetric unit separates from the sheet. The colorimetric device includes first detection means for detecting that the colorimetric unit is at the standby position and second detection means for detecting that the colorimetric unit is at the abutment position. The colorimetric device includes setting means for previously finding a movement amount of the colorimetric unit between the abutment position and the standby position based on the detection by the first detection means and the second detection means and setting a drying position where a drying unit performs drying using the found movement amount. |
