PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route planning device which plans a route according to which of time or low power consumption has priority over the other.SOLUTION: A route planning device comprises: a first search section 12 which reads layout data regarding layout of a storage 30 from a storage unit when a called palette is selected, and searches for a movement route for moving the called palette from a rack where the called palette exists at present to a rack which is utilized for a requested operation; a passage determination section 13 which determines whether or not a rack immediately before a rack to which the called palette moves next is immediately before a one-cell width passage which cannot be detoured on the movement route searched for by the first search section 12, and decides the number of empty selves to be arranged on the movement route; a second search section 14 which turns the number of racks determined by the passage determination section 13 into the empty racks, and searches for a movement route of the palette in a storage space in order for the called palette to move on the movement route searched for by the first search section; and a transmission section 15 which transmits the movement route searched for by the second search section 14 to a controller 20 which controls movement of the palette. |
