PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image manufacturing method for manufacturing a beautiful image having high durability and high-class feeling by providing an overcoat layer on an oilless fixed image, and an image obtained by the image manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A test chart No.4 conforming to ISO/IEC 15775:1999 is formed as an image by an image forming apparatus using an oilless fixing unit, and an overcoat layer is provided on the image having missing parts of 3 to 25 μm in size at the maximum at positions where the formed image has highest densities of red, green, and blue, in which the area of the missing parts accounts for 2 to 6% of the total area of the image. |
