METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEALING MATERIAL SHEET FOR SOLAR CELL MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material sheet for a solar cell module which is superior in laminate adequateness, heat resistance, and insulation properties using inexpensive low density polyethylene having high fluidity.SOLUTION: A method for producing a sealing material sheet for a solar cell module includes: a sheet-forming step for obtaining a non-crosslinked sealing material sheet by melt-molding a sealing material composition containing a low-density polyethylene having a density of 0.900 g/cmor lower and a crosslinking assistant; and a crosslinking step for subjecting the non-crosslinked sealing material sheet to crosslinking treatment by irradiation with ionizing radiation to obtain the crosslinked sealing material sheet. In the low-density polyethylene, an MFR measured according to JIS K6922-2 at 190°C and a load of 2.16 kg is 20.0 g/10 min or more and 40.0 g/10 min or less.
