PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a privacy mask for each stream.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus for distributing video data includes: a video source section for outputting the video data imaged by an imaging element; a masking section for masking the video data acquired from the video source section; an encoding section for encoding the video data masked by the masking section by one of a plurality of encoding methods; and a holding section for holding video distribution management information including video source setting information which shows a setting content to the video source section, masking setting information which is associated with the video source setting information and shows the setting content of masking to the video data, and encoding setting information which shows the setting content to the encoding section. The video distribution management information includes the video source setting information whose number is the total number of the encoding methods which the encoding section can encode or more, and the imaging apparatus distributes the video data encoded in accordance with the video distribution management information. |
