PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening and closing time control device capable of preventing unintended extraction from a lock hole of a lock member.SOLUTION: A valve opening and closing time control device includes: a driving side rotation member 1 which rotates synchronously with a crank shaft; a driven side rotation member 2 which rotates synchronously with a cam shaft; a lead chamber and a delay chamber formed between both rotation members; and a lock mechanism 8 which restrains a relative rotation phase of both rotation members. Therein, the lock mechanism includes at least one lock member 9b, 10b disposed on one side of both rotation members, a lock hole 9c, 10c disposed on the other side of both rotation members, a biasing member 9d, 10d for biasing the lock member to the side of the lock hole, a switching mechanism for switching a locked state and a lock-released state of the lock member and a regulation mechanism 14 for regulating that the lock member slips out of the lock hole. |
