The present invention is provided with: a gear shifter (20) provided with a planetary mechanism having a plurality of differentially rotatable gear-shifting rotary elements, the engine rotation shaft (11) side being connected to the carrier (C1) therein; a differential device (30) having a plurality of differential rotary elements individually connected to the ring gear (R1) of the gear shifter (20), as well as to an MG1 rotation shaft (12), an MG2 rotation shaft (13), and a drive wheel (W); a gearshift control device (40) capable of controlling the gear shifter (20) to a neutral state where power transmission between input and output of the gear shifter (20) is not possible, or to a state where power transmission between the input and output is possible; and an HVECU (90) for controlling a first rotator (MG1) such that the pinion differential rotation of the gear shifter (20) or the differential device (30) is at or below a prescribed value when performing single-motor EV driving using only the drive power of a second rotator (MG2). |
