The method involves associating a calibration patch (35) provided with a hole similar to a rectilinear hole (19) to be controlled, to a metallic piece such that the holes extend with respect to each other. An Eddy current probe (13) is engaged in the holes for receiving calibration data and the data to be analyzed during the same travel of the probe. The probe driven in rotation is utilized for controlling the rectilinear hole with a circular section. An independent claim is also included for a non destructive testing installation for eddy currents of hole in metallic piece, comprising an eddy current probe. |
