The present invention relates to a charge or discharge amount distribution apparatus of an energy storage system, which comprises: an input unit for receiving a total amount of charge, an SOC, the number of charging, and the number of discharging of each of a plurality of secondary battery systems; a calculation unit for calculating an average SOC, an average number of charging, and an average number of discharging based on the SOC, the number of charging, and the number of discharging that are provided by the input unit, and calculating a charge amount for each of the secondary battery systems by comparing the SOC, the number of charging, and the number of discharging with the average SOC, the average number of charging, and the average number of discharging; and an output unit for outputting the charge amount for each of the secondary battery systems to a power conditioning system of each of the secondary battery systems.
