The present invention relates to a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery prepared with the same, capable of reducing the generation of HF by including fluorinated alcohol into the electrolyte, while increasing the capacity, low-temperature properties, and lifespan properties of the battery. The lithium secondary battery using non-aqueous electrolyte of the present invention, unlike LiFSI lithium salt, does not have problems regarding low anode oxidation resistance and erosion of an aluminum cathode collector, but is excellent in low temperature discharge characteristics, the capacity, and lifespan of the battery, corresponding to the LiFSI lithium salt.
