PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave chemical reaction vessel which is excellent in stability, has high heat efficiency and has heating uniformity. SOLUTION: The microwave chemical reaction vessel, having a microwave transmitting material for irradiating it with microwaves from a waveguide, is characterized in that the area of the microwave transmitting material is larger than the cross-section area of the waveguide, and in that the whole surface is in the position which is in contact with a material to be heated when the specified amount of the material to be heated is incorporated and the opening having the same size as the inner diameter of the waveguide is formed outside.
