<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of distortion or saturation at output of a magnetic sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A coreless electric motor is an electric machine 10 including a rotor 20 and a stator 15. The rotor 20 has a magnet 200 and magnetic body member 210. The stator 15 has an electromagnetic coil 100 and a magnetic sensor 300 for detecting the magnitude of a magnetic flux generated by the magnet. The magnetic sensor 300 is arranged at a position where the direction of a magnetic flux line generated by the electromagnetic coil and the direction of a magnetic flux line detected by the magnetic sensor cross perpendicularly.
