<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function generation device and function generation method for reducing computational compelxity as well as the probability that an improper approximate object function is generated. <P>SOLUTION: The function generation device generates an approximate object function approximating an object function for optimally controlling a control model, using analysis data provided for updating the control model to be controlled. The function generation device comprises; a low dimension space projection part 221 for projecting the analysis data into a low dimension space by fixing an uncontrolled variable which is an uncontrolled target out of a plurality of input variables contained in the object function, to a representative value; a distance indicator calculation part 222 for calculating a distance indicator according to the distance between a space point in the analysis data and a space point having an uncontrolled variable as the representative value; and a function generation processing part 223 for generating an approximate object function with the control variable to be controlled as an input variable based on the distance indicator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
