PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately register ID information of a tire and air pressure information of the tire by means of a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: A tire monitoring system 10 includes: a detecting device 16 which is mounted to the tire 14 of a vehicle 12 to detect the air pressure of the tire 14; a control device 18 which is mounted to the vehicle 12 to acquire the ID and air pressure information of the tire 14 from the detecting device 16; and a power supply device 20 for supplying power to the detecting device 16. The detecting device 16 includes: a power generating side coil 28 for generating starting power by magnetic force; and a signal transmitting mechanism for transmitting signals including the information of the ID and air pressure of the tire 14 to the control device 18.
