Disclosed are a radio data system (RDS) broadcast receiving apparatus having a function of displaying a broadcast station name using a mapping table and a method thereof. The apparatus and method obtain and display information on the broadcast station name mapped on a program identification (PI) code of the received RDS data via the mapping table. Therefore, the present invention can display the broadcast station name on a screen rapidly. |
