The system has a set of holes (11b) that is aligned with each other. A rod (2) of approximately prismatic form is inserted in a section (1). One hole is provided with a circular form. Another hole is arranged with a combined form and is located in side walls of the section. The holes face each other with an approximately circular zone and an approximately prismatic zone such that the rod placed in the circular zone is ready to turn freely in the circular zone of the combined hole when placed in the circular part. The rod is blocked in the prismatic part of the combined hole. An independent claim is also included for a method for tightening filamentary elements.
