A mobile terminal includes a case in which electronic components are mounted; a top button which is inserted into the front side of the case and is formed at a shading part that light does not pass through and the circumference of the shading part; a metal dome which is disposed at the rear surface of the top button and is in a hemispherical shape with the protruding center; an actuator which pressurizes the protruding surface of the metal dome and changes the shape of the metal dome when the top button is pressurized; a circuit board in which the metal dome is mounted on one surface and which generates a signal as the change in the shape of the metal dome; a light source which emits light by being mounted on the circuit board; and a light guide layer which uniformly emits the light from the light source to the front side. Therefore, the high quality of a front design is possible by providing the mobile terminal with a home button emitting light around the button.
