<p>The water heater has the gas feed controlled by an electromagnetic inlet valve combined with a main valve (12) which is opened by the water tap being turned on. The main valve (12) is followed by an electromagnetic outlet valve, the electromagnetic valves controlled by a switch operated by the main valve (12) being opened and by a flame monitor respectively. The inlet valve is opened to allow the ignition flame line (82) to be supplied with gas, the successful operation of the ignition device allowing subsequent opening of the gas outlet valve. Pref. the valve rod of the main valve (12) has a conical section which cooperates with the switch for opening the inlet valve, e.g via a spring blade. The valve is designed for incorporating flame failure cut-out.</p> |
