The present invention relates to a hot dip galvanized steel sheet used in vehicles, home appliances, and construction materials and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the present invention effectively controls the surface diffusion of elements which are easily oxidized inside steel by controlling annealing thermal treatment conditions when manufacturing the hot dip galvanized steel sheet, thereby obtaining the hot dip galvanized steel sheet with an excellent surface quality and excellent plating adhesion.
