The present invention relates to a sludge processing method comprising: a first step for inputting, into a concentration adjusting tank (200), sludge condensed after mixing the sludge and a coagulant in a thickener (100); a second step for supplying a belt press (300) with the sludge controlled in the concentration adjusting tank (200); a third step for adjusting water content to 85 to 90 wt% by dehydrating the sludge in the belt press (300); a fourth step for adjusting concentration by inputting the dehydrated sludge into a second concentration adjusting tank (600); and a fifth step for supplying a dehydrating device with the sludge having concentration thereof adjusted in the fourth step. According to the above-mentioned sludge processing method, the present invention not only improves performance and reduces energy consumption via the belt press including the concentration adjusting part and an operation control part and a screw press combined therewith but also uses the dehydrating device more efficiently by enabling sludge concentration adjustment via the second concentration adjusting tank.
