<p>Embodiments of the invention provide an electric machine module. The module can include a housing, which can define a machine cavity. The housing can include a first axial end, a coolant jacket, and a plurality of coolant passages. In some embodiments, the coolant passages fluidly connect to the coolant jacket via at least one coolant aperture disposed through the housing. The housing can include a first guide positioned adjacent to the first axial end and extending into the machine cavity. The first guide is positioned so that a portion of the first guide is substantially adjacent to a portion of the rotor assembly. In some embodiments, the first guide is configured and arranged to guide a coolant toward the rotor assembly.</p> |
