The present invention relates to a system having a security function and a method of controlling the same. The system includes a user terminal for transmitting error report data including error report authentication information given to an application when an error is generated in the application; a reception security unit for authenticating the received error report data according to preset error report authentication information to discard the error report data when the authentication fails, and measuring a reception rate of the error report data which have been successfully authenticated to stop all responses for the error report data received for a preset time when the reception rate is higher than a preset reference reception rate; and a database unit for receiving and storing the error report data from the reception security unit when the measured reception rate is lower than the reference reception rate. Accordingly, an error management system for collecting and managing an error of a user application can be protected from a malicious attack such as a hacking or a distributed denial of service attack (DDOS). |
