<p>The present invention relates to a mobile terminal calculating battery consumption of a downloaded application and notifying the calculated battery consumption to a user and a method for providing information on battery consumption of the downloaded application. The method includes: displaying information on initial battery consumption of an application, calculated according to the usage of each application when a predetermined application is downloaded; checking devices operating during application execution; and providing average battery consumption information of an application and a variety of information related thereto by using a current consumption value of each device and usage pattern information of a corresponding application. Therefore, battery management and application execution optimized for a user may be performed.</p> |
