The present invention provides a method for transmitting complex multimedia data including a step of selecting one among MMT fragment unit (MFU) header formats predetermined according to the number of multimedia forming the complex multimedia data; a step of generating a basic transmission unit of the complex multimedia data according to the selected header format; and a step of packetizing the complex multimedia data according to the basic transmission unit and transmitting the packetized complex multimedia data to a receiving side.
