PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of effectively maintaining the quality of flowers in general, including ethylene-independent flowers.SOLUTION: A factor to inhibit InNAL1 is, for example, a double-stranded nucleic acid comprising: (I) one strand including (A) a particular base sequence (InNAL1 itself) or a sequence coding a particular amino acid sequence, or (B)(B-1) an altered sequence having one or several substitutions, additions or deletions in (A), (B-2) an altered sequence having at least about 70% sequence identity to the sequence of (A), or (B-3) an altered sequence that hybridizes the sequence of (A) under a stringent condition, this altered sequence including a sequence having a biological function of (A); and (II) the another strand including a complementary sequence of (I). |
