PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive flow rate measurement apparatus.SOLUTION: The flow rate measurement apparatus includes: a measurement housing 1 having a path 17 in which a fluid to be measured flows; and a measurement unit 26 for measuring the flow rate of the fluid to be measured. The measurement unit includes a path forming member 28 and a pair of ultrasonic transducers 29 and 30 disposed in the path forming member. The measurement unit 26 is arranged to incorporate entire the measurement housing 1 into the path 17 to measure the flow rate of the fluid to be measured. With this, even if the fluid to be measured leaks from an ultrasonic transducer mounting part of the measurement unit 26, the fluid to be measured does not leaks out of the path 17 of the measurement housing 1 and the safety is ensured. Accordingly, the sealing structure of the ultrasonic transducer mounting part can be simplified and a relatively inexpensive sealant can be employed; and thus, a large cost reduction is possible. |
