PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system including a fuel cell and a storage battery capable of increasing the stability of power supply.SOLUTION: A power generation system 100 includes: a storage battery 10 that stores the power and supplies the stored power to an external load 50; a fuel cell 12 that generates the power using the fuel and supplies the power to an external load 50 and the storage battery 10; a power storing capacity detector 14 that detects the power storing capacity of the storage battery 10; and a controller 20 configured to, when the power storing capacity of the storage battery 10 detected by the power storing capacity detector 14 is lower than a previously set first threshold value, increase the power generation amount of the fuel cell 12.
