PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring method under a road surface or the like that uses an electromagnetic wave radar.SOLUTION: A monitoring method under an object surface performs a data obtaining step of obtaining reflection wave data 50 in each reflection wave detection position 40, by making electromagnetic waves incident into a depth direction from the upper side of an object surface R to the under side of the object surface R, with an electromagnetic wave radar, with predetermined spacing in a direction along the object surface R at least all over the predetermined unit object area in the object surface R such as a road surface and by detecting their reflection waves in the upper side of the object surface R. The monitoring method performs the data obtaining step two or more times with the predetermined spacing for the same unit object area, and monitors changes under the object surface R in the unit object area on the basis of the comparison of new data with old data of the reflection data 50 itself or processed data obtained by processing the reflection data 50, in the same reflection wave detection position 40. |
