PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection device which can inspect the appearance of greengrocery precisely regardless of the type of greengrocery or variations in sphericity and size of greengrocery.SOLUTION: A visual inspection device 1 for inspecting an appearance of greengrocery 3 by conveying and reversing the greengrocery 3 with a transport device 15, comprises: a first imaging unit 21 for capturing an image of the greengrocery 3 before reversion from one direction and generating image data for the greengrocery 3; analysis means 37 which can communicate with the first imaging unit 21 and estimates a reversion time of the greengrocery 3 from the image data of the greengrocery 3; and a second imaging unit 23 which is located downstream from the first imaging unit 21, can communicate with the analysis means 37, captures an image of the greengrocery 3 from one direction when the reversion time of the greengrocery 3 has elapsed, and generates image data for the greengrocery 3. |
