PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube outer surface and inner surface inspection device that quantitatively inspects a surface defect generated in a tube outer surface and inner surface while being inserted into a pipe line.SOLUTION: A tube outer surface and inner surface inspection device 100 is inserted into the inside of a pipe line 12 to scan a defect 14 in a tube outer surface 12a and an inner surface 12b. The device 100 includes: an ultrasonic sensor 102 for quantitatively measuring the defect; elastic members 106 for biasing the ultrasonic sensor toward the inner surface of the pipe line when the ultrasonic sensor comes into contact with the inner surface of the pipe line; and a support shaft 104 for supporting the ultrasonic sensor through the elastic members so that the ultrasonic sensor extends in an axial direction of the pipe line. When the ultrasonic sensor comes into contact with the inner surface of the pipe line, the ultrasonic sensor is displaced toward the defect through the elastic members. The ultrasonic sensor uses a pair of a transmission probe 102a and a reception probe 102b to quantitatively measure the depth of the defect by the TOFD method. |
