PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect alteration in moving image data.SOLUTION: A generation device 101 acquires original moving image information 110 including a series of frames F1 to Fm which are the originals of a moving image. The generation device 101 calculates a feature quantity C (Fi) obtained by extracting the feature of the frame Fi selected from the series of frames F1 to Fm which is included in the original moving image information 110. The generation device 101 divides the frame Fi into areas M1 to Mn (n: a natural number of two or larger). The generation device 101, for the respective areas Mj obtained by dividing the frame Fi, calculates a feature quantity C (Fi:Mj) obtained by extracting the feature of the respective areas Mj. The generation device 101 generates an electronic signature 130 with respect to the feature quantity C (Fi) of the calculated frame Fi and the feature quantity C (Fi:Mj) of the respective areas Mj obtained by dividing the frames Fi.
