PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing an optical sheet, by which an optical sheet having a fine rugged pattern on a surface thereof, such as a lenticular lens sheet, a prism sheet and a light guide plate, can be stably manufactured by an extrusion molding process with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing an optical sheet comprises at least: an extruder for extruding a hot-melt resin into a resin sheet; a die roll 13 for forming a fine rugged pattern in the resin sheet 1; two cooling rolls 12, 14; and a blade 15 for assisting release of the resin sheet from the die roll 13. The apparatus is configured in such a manner that: (1) the die roll is disposed parallel to the width direction of the resin sheet; (2) in the cooling rolls, a first cooling roll opposing to one surface of the die roll and a second cooling roll opposing to the other surface of the die roll are disposed parallel to the die roll; and (3) the blade is disposed close to an upper part of a gap between the die roll and the second cooling roll. |
