<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of improving the degree of freedom of viewing.SOLUTION: An image display device 100 comprises: an image signal switch unit 24 which alternately switches, in accordance with a predetermined periodic signal, between a double-speed image signal V1' representing a first image and a double-speed image signal V2' representing a second image generated by replacing a predetermined area of the first image with a dummy image; an image display unit 26 which alternately displays the first image and the second image in response to the switching between the double-speed image signals V1 and V2' by the image signal switch unit 24; and an operation signal transmission unit 22 which transmits, to a shutter control device for eyeglasses with shutters having predetermined ID information, an operation signal to open the shutters of the eyeglasses with shutters having the predetermined ID information while the first image is displayed on the image display unit 26 and to close the shutters of the eyeglasses with shutters having the predetermined ID information while the second image is displayed on the image display unit 26.</p> |
