PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to sufficiently apply lubricant to an image carrier of a second imaging part at a predetermined timing even when first and second imaging parts of multiple imaging parts arranged to face an intermediate transfer body are disposed, the fist imaging part having lubricant supply means and the second imaging means having no lubricant supply means.SOLUTION: "Lubricant transfer supply mode" is executed at a predetermined timing, which applies lubricant moved from a surface of an image carrier 11 of a first imaging part 10BK into a developing apparatus 13, to the image carrier 11 of the first imaging part 10BK again, and moves it via an intermediate transfer body 17 to be applied to an image carrier of a second imaging part. |
