PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainfall data collection system which is easily increased in the number of installation places of a rain gauge and easily obtains accurate information on desired places. SOLUTION: Many buildings are formed, wherein each building includes: the rain gauge 7 for measuring the quantity of rainwater flowing down a down pipe 5 of a gutter 6; and a home server for receiving measurement signals from the rain gauge 7. A central server communicating with the home server of each building collects and stores rainfall data measured at each building while the rainfall data are related to the position information and time information of the building.
