PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for rolling bearings 1, more particularly, which can advantageously find application in the technical field of a rotary vacuum pump, such as a turbomolecular vacuum pump.SOLUTION: The support for rolling bearings 1 comprises a first inner annular shell 3 which is intended to be mounted on the outer surface of a rolling bearing, a second outer annular shell 5 which is concentric with the first inner annular shell and intended to be mounted on the surface of the bearing seat, and an intermediate elastomeric member 7 provided between the inner and outer shells and fixed thereto. Thanks to the configuration of the invention, any relative movement between the metal shells 3, 5 and the intermediate elastomeric member 7 is prevented, while allowing movement of the first inner shell 3 and the second outer shell 5 relative to each other. |
