<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to ensure workability in replacing any unit alone after removal from a device body, while enabling easy installation to the device body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a belt unit (6) having a belt member (61) stretched on rollers (62-64); and a cleaning unit (70) having a cleaning member (71) in contact with a surface of the belt member to clean it. The image forming apparatus also includes first holding means (80a, 81, 90) for guiding the belt unit so as to be inserted or removed, locking the belt unit regulated in a predetermined position, and removing the belt unit in a direction opposite insertion direction; and second holding means (77, 80b, 82) for guiding the cleaning unit so as to be inserted or removed, locking the cleaning unit, and removing the cleaning unit in a direction opposite insertion direction.</p> |
