<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power unit for light emission diode illumination and a light emission diode illumination device using the electric power unit.SOLUTION: A light emission diode illumination device includes: a light emission diode illumination light; a sensor board which provides a control signal for controlling dimming of the illumination light; and an electric power unit which includes a power supply part providing a rectified voltage, a transformer having an auxiliary coil providing a detection voltage corresponding to a primary-side current while the winding ratio of the auxiliary coil is set that the detection voltage is included in a driving voltage area of the light emission diode illumination light a flyback control circuit controlling the primary-side current with driving pulses generated in response to a control signal and a sensing voltage, and a voltage regulating circuit regulating and providing the detection voltage as an operating voltage of the flyback control circuit, the sensing voltage being a voltage fed back on sensing the primary-side current so as to supply electric power to the light emission diode illumination light and sensor board.</p> |
