PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition for optical material which is superior in striae, transparency, color tone and weather resistance, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: A polymerizable composition for optical material comprises the following (b) compound comprising the following (a) compound of 1-100 ppm, and the following (c) compound as main components, and has a molar ratio of SH groups and NCO groups (SH groups/NCO groups) of 0.5-3.0, wherein the compound (a) is a compound represented by the following (1) formula, the (b) compound is m-xylylene diisocyanate, and the (c) compound is a polythiol compound. |
