PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicle which suppresses a light emission area from being reflected in a side window and the like, while the light emission area emits light with high luminance.SOLUTION: In a display device 100 for vehicle, an ambient light emission area 13 is formed at an outer peripheral side of a display area 11. Light emitted from an ambient light source 43 is guided to an acryl cylindrical body 60 by an ambient light guide 50, and is emitted from an emission end surface 62 of the cylindrical body 60 in an emission direction OD. The ambient light emission area 13 is formed by the emission end surface 62. In the display device 100 for vehicle, a light condensing structure 70 condenses a direction of emitted light OB emitted from the emission end surface 62 in the emission direction OD to which the emission end surface 62 is directed. Due to a light condensing action to the emission direction OD, leak of light toward a direction different from the emission direction OD is reduced, and light emission luminance of the ambient light emission area 13 is improved. |
