PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient packet retransmission in the event of an overflow in a shared reception buffer.SOLUTION: An information processing device processes a packet received from a plurality of transmission sources, and includes: a buffer for storing packets received from the plurality of transmission sources; when there is no idle area in the buffer for storing a received first packet, a first processing unit for transmitting, to the transmission source of the first packet, a suspension request to request the suspension of packet transmission, and for discarding the first packet; and when an idle area occurs in the buffer, a second processing unit for transmitting, to the transmission source of the first packet, a retransmission request to request the retransmission of the first packet. |
