PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of improving assembly workability.SOLUTION: A housing 10 of a liquid level detector 100 includes a cover 30 having a cylindrical part 33 and a catch 39a and a body 20 in which an engaging hole 29a is formed. Since the catch 39a is engaged with a circumferential wall 29b of the engaging hole 29a, the cover 30 is supported by the body 20. To facilitate the work for assembling the cover 30 to the body 20, each of the cover 30 and the body 20 is provided with a cover guide part 71 and a body guide part 76. The cover guide part 71 formed in a tip part 33a of the cylindrical part 33 comes in contact with the body guide part 76. Thus, as a turning force is generated around the cylindrical part 33, the cover 30 is guided toward a normal position where the catch 39a and the engaging hole 29a can be engaged. |
