PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit that can keep a light incidence surface of a light guide plate and a light source at a constant distance, is easy to assemble, and has no restriction in terms of design.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device (1) includes: a liquid crystal display panel (11); a light guide plate (21); a light emission device (23); a frame member (15); a heat spreader (13) where a light emission device support part (42) which holds the light emission device (23) such that the light emission device (23) and a light incidence surface (21c) are held at a constant distance is formed; and a light shield frame (14) where a light shield part (51) blocking light traveling from the light emission device (23) to the liquid crystal display panel (11) and a leaf spring part (52) arranged on the opposite side of the light emission device support part (42) from the side of the light incidence surface (21c) are formed. The light shield frame (14) is fixed to the frame member (15) in a state in which the leaf spring part (52) is elastically deformed to press the light emission device support part (42) against the side of the light incidence surface (21c). |
