PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera capable of obtaining a fundus image in which the effect of unevenness of the light projected onto a fundus oculus is suppressed regardless of the optical characteristics of the subject eye.SOLUTION: The fundus camera comprises: an illumination optical system for projecting the light from a light source onto the fundus oculus of a subject eye; and a fundus oculus observation and imaging optical system for receiving the light which is the light from the light source reflected off the fundus oculus, the fundus camera capturing a fundus image of the subject eye on the basis of light receiving results of image pickup devices. In addition, a control unit performs: a step S1 of obtaining information which indicates the size of a range the fundus oculus over which the light from the illumination optical system is projected; a step S3 of obtaining a distribution of unevenness of the light on the fundus oculus, the light being projected from the illumination optical system, on the basis of the information obtained in the step S1; and a step S7 of correcting the brightness of the fundus image, using the obtained distribution of unevenness of the light. |
