<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device capable of excellently lubricating an engagement part with a little lubricant and can be operated with high efficiency, for converting a rotational drive force in an orthogonal direction.SOLUTION: The gear device comprises: a pair of bevel gears 14 which are supported in a rotatable manner by a housing 15 and engaged with each other; an oil tank 21 which is provided in the housing 15 and in which a lubricant is stored; at least one oil supply passage 31 which is provided toward a tooth part 25b1 from a back part of a bevel gear 25 of which the rotation axial line is disposed in a horizontal direction and in which a lower end of the tooth part is immersed in the lubricant in the oil tank, between the pair of bevel gears 14; and an oil reservoir 32 in which a bottom face 32a is formed closer to an outer circumferential side of the bevel gear 25 than a portion where the oil supply passage 31 is opened, in the back part of the bevel gear 25 where the oil supply passage 31 is formed, and the lubricant scraped by rotating the tooth part 25b1 of the bevel gear 25 is collected and held by a centrifugal force F.</p> |
